Starting from the riad fes located in the Andalusian quarter of the Fes medina, you’ll be able to enjoy several activities during your stay. Indeed, Riad Jamaï has created several partnerships with operators, taxis, and institutes to help you discover Fes and its treasures during your visit. Once your accommodation in Fes is booked, you can discuss with the guesthouse staff to plan the pace of activities that suits you.

The team regularly suggests structuring the stay between visiting the medina with an official guide recognized by the Moroccan Ministry of Tourism, free time to explore the alleys of the thousand-year-old city on your own, and an excursion in the region with two preferred circuits.
Day 1 of the stay: half-day discovery of Riad Jamaï, mint tea
Day 2 of the stay: 3 to 4 hours of medina visit with an official guide starting from Riad Jamaï, departure 10am – return 2pm, then lunch at the Riad or in the medina. Then from 5pm/6pm: Hammam in the new town or in the medina. Dinner in the new town or at Riad Jamaï.
Day 3 of the stay: excursion in the Fes region to discover the Atlas Mountains and the landscapes of northern Morocco. 2 excursions are possible starting from Riad Jamaï.
Excursion 1: the towns of Azrou, Sefrou, Ifrane (the Moroccan Switzerland), the cedar forest (wild monkeys), Bahlil (troglodyte village with mint tea at a local’s home), the potters’ quarter (traditional Fes pottery making using artisanal methods)
Excursion 2: the western region of Fes with the imperial city of Meknes, the ancient city of Volubilis, the valleys and landscape panoramas along the departmental road between Fes and Meknes. A visit to the Roselaine estate, the largest wine producer in Morocco with its Guerrouane wine.
