Northern Morocco is an exceptional region, its geographical location ensures a reasonable climate almost all year round on the edge of the Atlas. The Fes-Saiss region, also called Fes-Meknes, is undergoing a strong evolution in its opening to the world. Indeed, after several years of stagnation, Fes and its region now offer a genuine stay program for tourists curious about Moroccan history.

Traveling through the imperial cities and Chefchaouen

The guesthouse in Fes, where you will also find accommodation in a riad, regularly welcomes travelers from all over the world who structure their stay as follows:

1- Flights arriving at the Fes airport, a new terminal opened in June 2017 for the celebration of King Mohammed VI.

2- Then, a short stay of 3 to 4 nights at Riad Jamaï allows you to visit the Fes medina, do some souvenir shopping and explore all the souks, medersas and exceptional sites this medina has to offer.

3- An excursion in the Fes region with visits to the Roman site of Volubilis, a lunch stop in the town of Ifrane with its Swiss architecture, ending the journey in Meknes, an imperial city less than 100 km from Fes.

4- The visit to Meknes is the third highlight of the stay, the central square is animated by artists and other entertainment for tourists. Fes and Meknes are the two major cities of Northern Morocco in the central area.

5- Chefchaouen and its landscapes, many travelers arrive from or head to Chaouen. We have not yet established partnerships with a riad or a guesthouse in Chefchaouen, but we should, given the number of adventurers passing through there.

6- Departure takes place from Fes with an overnight stay at the riad before flying back home.

The team at Riad Fes Jamaï works with partners who help organize the stay with complete peace of mind, taxis, guides, and restaurant stops allow each of our travelers to fully enjoy this northern Moroccan getaway.
