A second terminal in Fès

For several years now, the historic terminal of Fès has been set to be complemented by a second one under construction alongside the first. It will increase capacity to more than two million visitors per year in order to support the city’s numerous hotel projects. The airport’s architecture is similar to existing designs in Marrakech, with great modernity in the materials used and the lines drawn. Indeed, the Moroccan style is preserved with Moucharabieh impressions on the building’s facades.

This new terminal has experienced several significant delays since the inauguration was initially planned for November 2014, then, in a second phase, construction officials announced delivery of the second terminal in March 2015. As of June 2015, this new reception area, essential to the Fès region, had not yet been delivered. The Riad Jamaï team eagerly awaits the delivery of this new terminal in order to welcome nationalities from around the world and thus offer meetings within the shared spaces of the riad fez.
